Also for practical reasons and to simplify the previous round up process all small rewards of less than 1.5 ADA will receive a minimum of 1.5 ADA in rewards for the near term.

We have had a great run of luck after minting 2 blocks in Epoch 318 and another 2 again in Epoch 319. This takes our total block minted now to 25. Rewards should be quite nice at the ends of Epoch 319 and 320. Let us hope we keep minting many more blocks to come with increased staking alongside this.

Missed Block as Slot Leader for 49682337 in Epoch 312

Unfortunately GNP1 failed to mint a block as slot leader for slot 49682337 in Epoch 312. This was due to a configuration issue encountered during a recent upgrade to Node version 1.32.1. An examination of our log records identified the problem allowing us to rectify this immediately so that this should not happen again. We sincerely apologize for this and will take every step possible to ensure that this does not  happen again.

While under no obligation to do so we have decided to compensate our delegators with manual payments of any lost rewards. This will be done automatically for known delegators. Unknown delegators with the StakeIDs below can claim these by contacting us directly and have 28 days in which to claim this discretionary payment.

GNP1 are proud to announce that we have made our first charity payment from proceeds of our Numpugz NFT release. Today we donated 198.40 AUD (106.57 GBP) to the Black Dog Institute in Australia which is the equivalent to 95.81 ADA (conversion rate on 27 Dec 2021) . This comprised of 45 ADA in donations from the free Numpugz and 50.81 ADA from the sale of other category Numpugz. We decided to donate 100% (rather than 50%) of the sold Numpugz due to sales volumes being less than expected. Transfer of ADA from Donations Wallet and Purchased NFT wallet to Exchange account for conversion to GBPs and Charity Payment.

As stipulated on our website 100% of ADA received from donations relating to free Numpugz and 50% of revenue from the sale of Numpugz will be given to Mental Health. Unfortunately our sales have not been as good as expected but in the interest of transparency we are publishing the amounts raised so far and this will be converted to GBPs for payment to a charity shortly.

We have received 45 ADA in donations and earned 50.81 ADA from the sale of Numpugz as at 27 December 2021. This does not include any sales in the last couple of days. Due to the small amount of sales revenue we will be donating 100% of this revenue to mental health totaling 95.81 ADA.

These are paybacks for the 340 ADA pool fee which is taken by the Blockchain protocol. 200 of this ADA is paid back to delegators as a proportion of their stake. While we did mint 2 blocks in this Epoch only one pool fee is taken per Epoch by the pool.

The table has been adjusted to include any small amounts of ADA carried over from last block production. Remember if your payback is less than 1.5 ADA it will be rolled over until such time it is 1.5 ADA or greater at which point payment will be made.

Unfortunately we have had to increase our pool margin from 0.25% to 2.00% in order to cover our costs. We believe that this margin is still competitive and consistent with many other pools of our size. This should make very little difference to the rewards currently being paid out.

In order to provide greater reliability and stability to the GNP1 Stakepool we have added another relay to our system of nodes. GNP1 now has 3 relays with one in the UK, another in Germany and a third in the USA.

All nodes including our Block Producing Node and our 3 relays were upgraded to version 1.26.2 today. We have just transitioned to Epoch number 261 without any issue and all systems look stable.
