Our team is actively working on developing various methodologies to evaluate stake pools from a Delegator’s perspective, all while maintaining a strong commitment to Cardano’s principles of decentralization. Please keep in mind that the parameters that govern this scoring tool may undergo revisions in response to user feedback and the ongoing refinement of our scoring system.

It’s important to note that while the tool aims to provide helpful insights, it does not intend to pass judgment on any particular stake pool. Even high-quality pools might occasionally receive varying scores as we continue to refine our algorithm. We want to emphasize that this tool should not be the sole basis for making delegation decisions. Delegators hold the responsibility of conducting their own independent research when selecting specific stake pools for their ADA delegation.

Moreover, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the calculations at this stage. There are a number of known bugs that we are diligently working on ironing out as we strive to improve the tool’s performance and accuracy.

Statistical Functions Help

Explanation of statistical functions:

  • Average: The average of block numbers for the past 12 months (73 Epochs).
  • Standard Deviation: A measure of data dispersion. The higher the SD, the more the number of blocks produced changes from Epoch to Epoch.
  • Median: The middle value of the range of block numbers for the past 12 months.
  • Mode: The most frequently occurring value of block numbers.
  • Smallest Value: The minimum number of blocks produced in an Epoch in the last 12 months.
  • Highest Value: The maximum number of blocks produced in an Epoch in the last 12 months.
  • Range: The difference between the highest and lowest block numbers.
  • Block Warning Check: Checks for a warning when average blocks are greater than or equal to 10 and there's an epoch with 0 blocks.
  • 0 Blocks count: The total count of epochs with 0 blocks produced in the last 12 months (73 Epochs).
  • 0 Blocks %: The percentage of epochs with 0 blocks produced in the last 12 months (73 Epochs).
  • Block Trend Analysis: Indicates the trend of block production over the past 12 months using linear regression analysis.
